Nice movie cover/image pictures in what the book calls "figure" which are numbered.Movie titles are italacized.Each chapter has a "Film in Focus" section which narrows in on concepts by making reference to movies and movie directors. Key terms highlighted in black. Clear and frequent title headings makes it easy to stay on track with what their saying."Viewing Cue" cutouts asks relevant questions about film which helps you study/do hand's on exercise. Each chapter has a "concepts at work" section which is pretty much a summary of the chapter.
